One of the most successful songwriters in Finland who originally became famous as the singer of Zen Café, Samuli Putro will return to Festivaali in Pyynikki in Tampere this summer!
Known for his modesty and music made for ordinary people, Putro's debut album ‘Elämä on juhla’ released in 2009 reached the top of the charts. His best-selling album ‘Tavalliset hautajaiset’ released in 2012 was number one on Finnish album charts for up to 19 weeks. The album also features ‘Olet puolisoni nyt’, one of the most beloved Finnish songs ever. Samuli Putro’s music is timeless and speaks to listeners of all ages.
During his almost twenty-year solo career, Putro has released eight solo albums, toured Finland many times over and has been recognised with the Emma award for the best male artist of the year and the prestigious Juha Vainio award.
